Nokia N96 last updates

Rumors says that one of Nokia representatives stated that upcoming Nokia N96 will get last minute upgrade before it hit the shelves. So, as those rumors claim the LED flash will be replaced with Xenon which has advantages in low-light situations. And now we have to wait that Nokia officially confirm this but actually is it really important for you to have LED based or Xenon flash?

LG reveals new VX8560 and VX9700

LG has released info about two upcoming models LG VX8560 and VX9700. The VX8560 is a flip phone that could replace the current VX8700 and as we can see from photo features TFT display and newly designed music controls and dedicated Music and Camera button on the side. Other handset VX9700 will be Prada-like phone featuring a large WQVGA touchscreen, 3.2MP camera with Schneider Kreuznach lens, on-screen QWERTY keypad, microUSB port and microSDHC memory card slot. Volume buttons are placed on the right side and there is third button that could possibly be for camera. Unfortunately there are no release dates or prices, but some rumors says that VX9700 will hit the stores somewhere in May or June and that new name will be LG Dare while VX8610 will be the LG Decoy.

LG Vu first deatils

Guys from PhoneArena received special press photos of the upcoming LG Vu for AT&T networks. Apparently there will be two models available, the CU915 without Mobile TV antenna, and the CU920 with Mobile TV antenna. Both handsets will feature 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen, 2MP camera with autofocus, full web browser with 3G data speeds, 120MB of internal memory, USB mass storage mode, and microSD card for up to 4GB additional storage space. Dimension are 4.25 x 2.16 x 0.51 inches, weights 3.16oz, and 1000mAh battery will give you 3 hours of talk time. Now, we are waiting CTIA April 1-3 to get some more news.

Treo 800w ready for July release

Visitors of Sprintusers.com have spotted the new Sprint Roadmap where is Palm Treo 800w scheduled for July release. All the specs on the roadmap are already known, Windows Mobile 6.0, WiFi, autonomous GPS, and obviously will replace 700w model. Also, if info from the photo is true there will be two versions of Treo 800w - with and without camera. Stay tuned for more info.

Verizon G’zOne Type-S

Verizon launched new clamshell phone, G’zOne Type-S in black and silver colors. This model fit into low-end models and among standard features sport push-to-talk options, VGA camera and special casing resistant to water, dust and shock environments, Bluetooth and VZ Navigator. It is yours for $80 and two year contract.

AT&T Mobile TV launching in May

We already knew plans about AT&T Mobile TV and today company finally made official statement that MediaFLO-powered mobile TV service or simply “AT&T Mobile TV” will be available to subscribers from May. So far only two handsets will have AT&T Mobile TV support, LG Vu and Samsung Access. Both phones feature Bluetooth, 3G and two new Mobile TV channels that are exclusive to AT&T.

Nokia 6300i

Nokia decided to update its popular model 6300 and now we have new 6300i that has same physical look, usual set of features, 30MB of internal storage, microSD slot, 2 megapixel camera and brand new WiFi support. Now you can make inexpensive voice over IP calls at home or connect to the wireless networks and enjoy video 3GPP streaming. Unfortunately there is no 3G support but this 6300i is surely one cool phone from cheaper range. You can get it for about $272 bucks and right now handset is available in Europe. Expected to hit the US market from summer.

LG KF300 Wine finally available

LG has finally made KF300, Wine, available worldwide. We have mentioned that this model was in production and now have some real specs. This flip handset is classic fashion prone available in black/red and pink colors and feature 2.2 inch TFT display, 2MP camera with auto focus, 10MB of internal storage, microSD slot and Bluetooth connectivity. LG KF300 Wine looks like a budget fashion phone that will be nice addition to an already popular LG Chocolate and LG Shine models.

Check out this new slider from LG, LG-SH240. On the first look it is usual phone you have seen before with 2MP camera, 3G HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth but there is also special keypad with special coating that gives you the feeling like real human skin. If this is not too creepy for you, get on in Korea for about $400 dollars.

Samsung SCH-r210 Spex available at MetroPCS

MetroPCS has a new phone in offer, Samsung SCH-r210 Spex. There are not much info about this model but so far we know it features dual-band CDMA, 1700 MHz AWS and 128 x 128 screen. As you can see from the photo this phone is set to be low-end model so don’t expect any cool features or high price tag.
