LG just announced new 5.1 megapixel phone that strangely resembles to Casio W53CA handset. The model 801Ex features 2.8 inch LCD that can be rotated and sport 800 x 480 pixel resolution for DMB television and landscape or portrait web browsing. Also 5.1 MP camera has 28mm lens, color correction, 9-point auto focus, and built-in anti-shake technology, 4GB NAND / 1GB SDRAM and microSD slot and 3G support. 801Ex will hit the Korean market from April and price is still unknown.

The MWg has two new smartphones, UBiQUiO 501 and UBiQUiO 503g. Both handsets feature full QWERTY keyboard and Windows Mobile 6 Professional and touchscreen display. First model UBiQUiO 501 run TI OMAP 750 200 MHz processor with 128 MB ROM and 64MB RAM memory, 2.5 inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, IrDA, Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g connectivity, mini USB and miniSD slot. On the other hand the UBiQUiO 503g runs TI 520MHz XScale processor, 192MB ROM and 96MB RAM, HSDPA 3.6 Mbps, 2.4 inch QVGA display, 2MP camera and 0.3MP secondary camera for video calling, Bluetooth: 1.2 with A2DP, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, mini USB, microSD slot. Sony Ericsson has a new facts about mid-end phone codenamed Emelie. Seems that the handset will be based on A200 operating system and will feature QVGA display with 240 x 320 resolution. There will be also 2MP camera without auto focus capabilities and phone will be designed in stylish metal body with silver keys. So far there are not much info, just that expected price will be around $200 - $300 range.

Samsung has partnered with Nails inc to launch new G600 Belle handset. This model will be exclusively available for Phones 4u customers in the UK. Phone is designed in stylish burgundy color and sport 2.2 inch display, 5MP camera with video, microSD slot, full Internet capabilities and NetFront’s Browser v3.4, Bluetooth and media player. The Samsung G600 Belle will be available from April 1 exclusively at Phones 4u in the UK.

Check out the new Samsung’s Muse, music flip phone with 64 MB of integrated memory. Phone also sport a microSD slot, external music controls, and stereo Bluetooth. Muse features EV-DO, GPS and a 2 MP camera. Available for Alltel customers at $89.99 charge after $50 rebate.

Motorola has showcased new U9 flip phone designed for fashion lovers. This eye catching handset comes from same family as the Motorola PEBL and features external 1.4 inch touchscreen, 2 inches internal display and whole handset wights just 88 grams. Battery will provide about seven hours of talk time or approximately 350 hours of standby time. Still we don’t have info about availability and prices.

Ukrainian designer Shkinder Maxim presented his Transformer phone concept at Tancher Electronic Design Contest. Winning the third place this phone consists of parts able to rotate full 360 degrees around a specially designed axis. The Transformer phone has five key functions: cellphone, photo/video recorder, media player, projector and holographic projector/3D scanner. Different modes are activated by positioning the handset into particular shapes; for instance, when working as a projector the cellphone stands upright in a Y-shape. Really cool idea, don’t you agree?

HTC has been developing handset for Android software from Google and decided to name that model - Dream. The handset will be 3 inches wide and 5 inches long with full QWERTY keyboard and large touchscreen. It is expected to hit the market somewhere at the end of 2008 and we are anticipated to see it!

LG Electronics announced the launch of new Touch Web phone LG-LH2300 for Korean market. This phone features 3 inch wide LCD touchscreen with 800×480 resolution. Phone is designed for full Internet pleasures introducing the Quick Search Icon providing direct access to main Internet portals. Also phone sports 3 MP camera with face recognition and anti-shake technology. Unfortunately we don’t have other specs and phone is expected to hit the market in Korea next month for about $600 dollars.
