Blackberry Pearl 8110 at AT&T

AT&T has announced that it will ship Blackberry Pearl 8110 smartphone. In AT&T’s version Pearl 8110 will provide live position updates in real time and feature TeleNav-based AT&T Navigator service and uses the feature to supply driving directions without permanent map downloads. This upgraded handset will also run a custom Yellow Pages application for finding and using contact information. In hardware changes there is lack of WiFi but rest is about the same as in 8120, 2MP camera, headphone jack and microSDHC card slot. Available right now at at AT&T retail stores nationwide for a price as low as $149.99, with a two-year contract, unlimited data plan and $39.99 voice plan.

Fujitsu F884i Raku-Raku

Fujitsu has unveiled new interesting phone for Japanese market, Raku-Raku F884i. This phone represent quality and elegant handset for the Japanese domestic market featuring a configurable orientation sensor that,powers up the TV when tilted in one direction and the camera when tilted in the other. Also voice recognition is upgraded and now allows complete email dictation by sending the user’s voice to a server and text back to the phone in real time. Available right now in Japan in three different colors and with world roaming too.

Nokia has unveiled two new handsets designed with support for XpressMusic service. The new Nokia 5320 XpressMusic and Nokia 5220 XpressMusic offer special music and entertainment experiences with the most fresh, stylish designs on the market. Both phones are compatible with Nokia Music Store and offer easy music side-loading, and users will able to access over 2 million tracks from both major and independent labels. Nokia 5320 and 5220 are expected to hit the stores in the Q3 of 2008 with expected prices of €160 to €220.

Sony Ericsson G502 seems to be successor of K530 or K660 phones with elegant style sporting 2 inch TFT QVGA display, EDGE, HSPDA with Exchange Activesync and Google Maps, 2MP camera with 4x digital zoom, video, Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, USB connectivity and 32 MB of internal memory with expandable M2 slot. Phone weights 83.5 grams and it is expected to be available in the Q2 of 2008 in two color options Brilliant Hazel & Champagne Black.

Samsung Soul ready for Europe

Samsung is launching its Soul slider for European market. The Soul will be available from May in France, UK, and Germany through major European mobile operators and in most of GSM supporting open markets. This slides sport tri-band support, 5MP camera with 4x digital zoom, face recognition, image stabilizer and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) as well as 7.2Mbps HSDPA data access for advanced 3G network support. Users will be able to choose from three available colors - ‘Sterling Steel,’ ‘Soul Gray’ and ‘Platinum Silver” and price is €400.

Levi’s 3G phone at Orange

Orange is ready to release the Levi’s 3G phone designed with cooperation with ModeLabs Group. This nice slider phone have engraved Levi Strauss logo and features a metal and soft touch finish. Phone sports tri-band GSM, WCDMA, microSD card for additional storage, MP3 player, Bluetooth 1.2 with A2DP support will be available by the end of April for EUR279 (US$444) without contract, or as low as EUR9 (US$14) with contract at Orange.
