RIM official with BlackBerry Bold 9000

RIM is finally official with new BlackBerry Bold 9000. Lets see the specs: 480 x 320 display, 625MHz Marvell Tavor PXA930 processor, 1GB internal flash memory, 802.11a/b/g WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2Dp, built-in GPS, MicroSDHC card slot, photo geotagging option and will be available in HSDPA and EV-DO versions. The 9000 is only the first of a new line which will come to all major US carriers. With the built-in 1500 mAh battery, RIM expects to get five hours of talk time and 13 days of standby. There is new OS 4.6 that includes DataViz’ DocumentsToGo application which allows BlackBerry users to read and edit Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents, but not Excel spreadsheets. We can expect the BlackBerry Bold 9000 this summer, though the price has not yet been made known.

BlackBerry Curve 8330 at Verizon from May 9th

Verizon confirmed that the BlackBerry Curve 8330 will be available first on May 9th through the company’s online store. BlackBerry Curve 8330 sport 2MP camera, full-size headphone jack, and an externally accessible microSD card slot. Packed into nice and stylish silver-black casing you can get it for $270 including a two-year contract and rebate, and should also be available in Verizon’s retail outlets on May 12th, shortly after the online launch.

BlackBerry Kickstart

Check out the very first BlackBerry clamshell named Kickstart. According to the BGR report Kickstart will use the SureType keyboard and an external LCD as well as an internal LCD and also uses the TrackBall for navigation. RIM also included new camera in device and even that there are no words about price and more specs we are eagerly anticipating to see this BlackBerry somewhere before end of this year.

BlackBerry 9000 official specification sheet leaked

Guys at Boy Genius Report have discovered the BlackBerry 9000 official specification sheet and as we can see there is nothing especially new that we haven’t already know. The spec sheet promises a tweaked web browsing experience with HSDPA support, improved picture library, automatic music playlists, and inline video streaming in the browser. Still we will have to wait some more time until official release of BlackBerry 9000 but this will be good to satisfy the most hungry fans.

Blackberry Pearl 8110 at AT&T

AT&T has announced that it will ship Blackberry Pearl 8110 smartphone. In AT&T’s version Pearl 8110 will provide live position updates in real time and feature TeleNav-based AT&T Navigator service and uses the feature to supply driving directions without permanent map downloads. This upgraded handset will also run a custom Yellow Pages application for finding and using contact information. In hardware changes there is lack of WiFi but rest is about the same as in 8120, 2MP camera, headphone jack and microSDHC card slot. Available right now at at AT&T retail stores nationwide for a price as low as $149.99, with a two-year contract, unlimited data plan and $39.99 voice plan.

This is the second generation Pearl, which will replace the BlackBerry 8100 that was in the company offer. 8120 has a same design and just a minor upgrades from previous models and most important one is WiFi capability, new web browser, 2MP camera with video capture, extended battery and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
