Treo 800w measures 4.4.1 x 2.28 x 0.73 inches and weights just 4.94 ounces. When released Treo 800w price is estimated to be $249.99 dollars.
Seems that Treo 800w is very close to official release. Latest leaked pics from hand indicate that this beauty is very cute and fits perfectly in the hand. And yeah there is Windows Mobile inside. Smartphone blog TamsPPC reported that they have received information from Palm about two new devices codenamed Zeppelin and Skywriter. Skywriter could be a Palm 500-style device with Windows Mobile 6.1 and there are no info about Zeppelin . Maybe this could be just a rumor but TamsPPC claim that the new phones will be official by the end of Q3 2008.
Lovers of the small adorable Palm Centro would like to hear that this device is now officially available on AT&T. Comparing it with Sprint’s version, GSM Centro feature EDGE data transfer and usual 1.3 MP camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth 1.2, support for AT&T’s push-to-talk service and miniature QWERTY keyboard. All that for $99 AT&T contract.
Palm has released a new ROM update for the Sprint Treo 755p. The Palm Treo 755p ROM v1.07 is 18.4MB and is available over HotSync or SD-card installation for Windows users. Mac users will need to flash the new firmware through the SD-card installation method. Installation will require about 45 minutes of your time.
For European market Palm released the unlocked version of its compact Treo 500v handset. This smartphone was previously available just for Vodafone networks. If you not remember Treo 500 features Windows Mobile 6 Standard on a Marvell XScale processor with 256MB of storage, 2 megapixel camera, UMTS and no no 850MHz support for GSM and the 3G data resides only on the 2100MHz band. You can get it right now for $528 bucks.
Vodafone announces new Palm model that will be available in its offer from September 2008. Palm Wanda is the Treo 500v successor, triband GSM and HSDPA smartphone with 2.2 inch QVGA display and 320×240 resolution, QWERTY keyboard, 2MP camera and Windows Mobile 6.1 for OS. Price is expected to be around $350.
Seems that pink colored phones are chic these days, so as rumors claims Palm also prepares new Pink Centro for start of 2008. As you can see from the pic this should be the look of new Centro from Sprint and you guys should start thinking buying this cutie to your girlfriend for Valentine’s day.
