Panasonic develops new low-voltage plasma technology

Panasonic is working on new low-voltage (1.5v) plasma technology that will bring us new brighter and thinnes OLED displays. As officials from the company says, this new technology will cost less then todays OLEDs. Panasonic has already planed to include new plasmas in AT&T Mobile TV service, gas pumps, ATMs, and on HP printers under a new exclusive two-year deal.

Guys from Akihabaranews.com got a chance to try new Panasonic W61P slim phone. This new model runs only in AU network in Japan (KDDI) is just 12.9mm thick and features 1Seg TV tuner, 2.07 MP camera and 100MB of internal memory.

Panasonic 822P

Panasonic announced new mobile phone 822P that is just 8.9 mm thick. 822P features 2.2 inch QVGA 240 x 320 display, 2 MP camera with auto focus, microSD card slot and Bluetooth connectivity. Expected to launch somewhere in February in Japan and will be available in four colors red, pink gold, black and white.

Panasonic VIERA 920P

Panasonic released new mobile phone line based on its VIERA television line. The Panasonic VIERA 920P features 3 inch VGA display that can be folded on its hinge either vertically or horizontally for optimal viewing, 5.1 MP camera and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR. Phone measures 106 × 49 × 18 mm and weighting just 135 grams. Available in gold, white, black metal, light blue, and pink styles and first will ship at Japanese market.

Check out new Panasonic P905i that features 3.2 inch color screen with 480×854 resolution and 2000:1 contrast ratio using VIERA high-definition technology. There is also support for WCDMA and GSM networks, HSDPA. This is first 3G prone that uses 330,000 pixel Call perturbation for video telephony, supports Windows Media Video format playback, Bluetooth and microSD slot.
