Verzio Envii gets specifications

Verzio had a long pause with new releases and finally we have a chance to see new Windows Mobile based handset named Envii. The Envii will run Windows Mobile 6.1 and sport 624MHz CPU, 1GB ROM, 2.7 inch QVGA screen, triple-band GSM with 1900 and 2100MHz UMTS / HSDPA, Bluetooth, and WiFi. Still it is not certain when Envii will be available so stay tuned for more information.

Toshiba releases Portege G810 smartphone

Two months after announcement at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Toshiba has finally released Portege G810. The Portege G810 runs Windows Mobile 6.1 with Microsoft Office Mobile application pack and full Internet capabilities. The smartphone features HSDPA and HSUPA support, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth and WiFi, 2.83 inch QVGA touchscreen, built-in GPS, FM Radio, and microSD card slot for up to 4GB of additional storage. The Toshiba Portege G810 is just 14mm thick and ships in stylish black mirror design.

Samsung i900 Omnia gets official

We have already heard a lot about Samsung i900 but the company has finally decided to go official with this model and now we can finally say that you can get yourself one somewhere this month or in July. To remind you i900 Omega features Windows Mobile 6.1, quad-band GSM / GPRS / EDGE support, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, a built-in accelerometer, WiFi module, USB port, FM tuner, Bluetooth, 3.2-inch 400 x 240 resolution display and a 5MP camera with smile detection and geotagging. Later this year will be released 8GB and 16GB versions.

Qsida tests dual-mode GSM / WiMAX phone

Qsida has showcased interesting slider phone with dual-mode GSM and WiMAX support. This unnamed phone features 802.16e WiMAX as well as GSM / GPRS / EDGE networks, and also built-in WiFi module. So far this device is used for test purposes for M-Taiwan network in WiMAX promotion. Phone also packs Windows Mobile 6.1 and we’d like to hear some detailed info when Qsida will release this model.

Gigabyte unveils new GSmart trio at Computex

Gigabyte has released new phones at Computex show - GSmart MS802, GSmart MS802 and GSmart MS820. All handsets runs Smart Touch interface and Windows Mobile 6.1. Lets review the specs. GSmart MS802 packs a 520 MHz CPU, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 3.5G support. GSmart MS808 supports DVB-T, DVB-H, T-DMB, and ISDB-T mobile TV standards. There is also integrated GPS, 3.5G, Marvell’s PXA310 624 MHz CPU, and 2.8-inch touchscreen display. GSmart MS820 sport 2.8 inch touchscreen, 520MHz CPU and owner of the special 2008 Taiwan Excellence Silver Award. Expect more detailed info soon.

Mio G50 and Mio LEAP K1

Mio has prepared two new handset for Computex show Mio G50 and Mio LEAP K1. Leap G50 features 400MHz processor, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, Bluetooth,, unconfirmed WiFi, GPS, and a 2.0MP camera and Windows Mobile 6.1 as OS. There is also Spb Mobile Shell 2.0, MioMap 2008, and geotagging support. On the other hand LEAP K1 features Tri-band GSM (900, 1800, 1900), 2 MP camera, Bluetooh and two faced panel, one is a traditional numeric keypad, while the other features an touchscreen pane. Both devices are expected to be available in China by the end of June.

E-TEN introduces three new models

E-TEN has three new smartphones on the shelves. E-TEN’s glofiish quad-band V900 is already known for some time so at Comuptex we had a chance to see new DX900, dual-SIM smartphone with mobile TV settings. Next one is X900 quad-band GSM with HSDPA and upgraded user interface from X800. Last one X610 is updated X600 with new user interface and Windows Mobile 6.1 So far no info about prices.

RoverPC P7

RoverPC has a new smartphone in the line, RoverPC P7. This model runs latest Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro and boasts Marvell PXA270 416MHz CPU, a 2.8-inch touchscreen, WiFi, Bluetooth, microSD memory slot, GPRS/EDGE data support with no 3G, and 2MP camera. No price or availability are available but we’re expecting to be launched in Russia very soon.

The Sharp Willcom 03 runs Windows Mobile 6.1, and features a 3 inch screen, Marvell PXA270 CPU at 520Mhz, USB, IrSS, Bluetooth, 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM, and microSD card slot, 2MP camera and One-seg receiver Mobile TV receiver. Available in Japan in thee colors: Pink, Gold and Lime.

Verzio Envii 3.5G smartphone

Asian Verzio has launched new HSDPA phone. Verzio Envii supports 3.5G high-speed packet data access (HSDPA) and runs on Marvell PXA270 624MHZ processor with 1GB ROM, 64MB RAM, 2.7-inch display with 64k TFT colors, dual speaker with SRS WOW HD, 2.0 megapixel camera, secondary video camera for video call, mini-USB, 2.5mm Audio Jack, Bluetooth, FM Radio with RDS and Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 as OS with access to various Microsoft Office applications. t also comes preloaded with media player functions, Outlook Mobile with Direct Push, mobile internet access, active function and vbasic functions. So far Verzio Envii is available in Philippines some parts of Asia. but we hope we’ll see it soon in other parts of the world.
