Student of the De Montfort University has won the D&AD Student Award for the very interesting mobile phone concept. This phone sports special inductive charging technology for data transfer and special hole that will be use as a finder when taking pictures. The winning design as well as other notable works will be shown at the London Design Festival on September 18.

Tetra T-Pad tough phone

Tetra T-Pad smartphone is specially designed handset with shock-proof (MIL-STD-810F) casing, IP65 waterproof rating and a keypad that resists dust, debris and any other materials. As for the specs the T-Pad features 640 x 480 display, Intel Xscale 400MHz processor, Windows CE.Net 4.2, 64MB of SDRAM, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and optional WiFi or GPS. Price is quite high, about $2,592 and is available right now in UK.

Treo 800w specs

While we wait July 13th for official Treo 800w release lest see this leaked spec sheet. As you can see from the photo the 800w will sport 333MHz processor, 2MP camera, threaded SMS chat, WiFi, Bluetooth, and micro USB 2.0 support. Treo 800w measures 4.4.1 x 2.28 x 0.73 inches and weights just 4.94 ounces. When released Treo 800w price is estimated to be $249.99 dollars.

MEGA4 shraes Sony Ericsson design and iPhone interface

Totally unknown Ezze Mobile Tech has designed completely fake phone that shares Sony Ericsson design and iPhone interface. This combination is named MEGA4 and features quad-band GSM support, touchscreen display, TV out, Bluetooth and low quality casing and keys. So far there is no info about pricing and availability, if you care at all.

Bike pedal powered charger

At the last O2 Wireless Festival in London we saw interesting phone charger concept. The pedal powered charged. This charger will work whole you pedal your bike and at the same time supply enough juice for your cell phone to charge it a bit more, so you won’t be offline ever. Still there is no info if this concept will ever go into production stage.

Nike and Apple unveils Nike+

Nike has partnered with Apple and created interesting Nike+ project. The iPod will integrate with your fitness and wellness program so it will be able to track your training process and inform you about energy loss, distance covered and next steps in scheduled training. So far it works with iPod nano and later will be expanded for iPhone and rest of iPod line.

Nokia launches Supernova series

Nokia goes official with new Supernova line. New models include the 7210, 7310, 7510, and 7610 in mid-range fashion style and choice of candybar, flip or a slider versions. The 7210 is a tri-band GSM/EDGE phone with 2 MP camera, and FM radio. Expected to be avaliable first in Q3 for €120 (about $189). The 7310 features support for changeable Xpress-On faceplates, TV-out and will cost you about €155 and is available now. The 7510 is a flip phone with most of 7310’s specifications and will be launched somewhere in Q4 for a €180 (about $283). And the 7610 sport 3.2 MP camera and will be avaliable from Q3 for €225 (about $354).

LG Chocolate 3 in black and blue

Verizon has announced that they will start selling new LG Chocolate 3 from next month and LG has finally unveiled first pictures of the new Chocolate phone. Seems that the LG Chocolate 3 will be available in black and blue color and features 2MP camera, 1GB of storage space and microSd slot if you need more, FM radio and much more.

Samsung Instinct stripped
