Velocity 103 available for preorder

Velocity Mobile has announced the new phone Velocity 103 featuring quadband EDGE and tri-band HSPA support, a VGA touchscreen, 2MP primary and VGA secondary camera, TV-out, 256MB of ROM with microSD card slot. The phone is now available for preorder and we can say it will be available by the end of the month in UK. Expected price is about $591 dollars.

More rumors about HTC Opal

New rumors about HTC’s Opal phone says that the phone will feature same 200MHz OMAP CPU as in Touch, a 2MP camera, and there are no 3G and TouchFLO 3D too. However there are no precise info about release dates, prices or anything else.

Sprint to launch BlackBerry 8350i

Sprint is ready to launch new BlackBerry phone on the market - the BlackBerry 8350i. This smartphone features PTT for Direct Connect service, 2 MP camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, integrated GPS, and office applications like DataViz Documents to Go and Sprint’s Group Connect where you can enter into group conversation with 20 other participants. However we still didn’t get the price.

HTC Opal the Touch successor

Seems that HTC is preparing the new model as followup HTC Touch. The new model HTC Opal will run newest TouchFLO 3D UI band-aid for Windows Mobile 6.1, quad-band GSM / EDGE support, WiFi, MicroSD slot, Bluetooth 2.0, 2MP camera and 2.8-inch 240×320 pixel touchscreen.

HTC launches Touch Diamond and Touch Pro at CTIA

HTC has officially launched HTC Touch Diamond and Touch Pro at CTIA in San Francisco. We can expect Touch Diamond in stores from September 14th while Touch Pro comes on October 19th. Both phones will be available at Sprint. Touch Diamond for $249 with two years contract and Touch Pro $299 with the same deal.

Sony Ericsson announces XPERIA X1 release date

Sony Ericsson just announced the release date of XPERIA X1. Starting from September 30, people in Sweden, Germany, and the UK will be able to get fist XPERIA X1 phones and later in the Q4 it is expected to launch in 32 countries all over the world. BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220

RIM has finally officially released new BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 phone. This flip phone features a 320 x 240 internal display, Bluetooth 2.0, built-in multimedia player, 802.11b/g WiFi and a SureType keypad. The phone weights 3.6-ounces and battery will give you about 4 hours of talk time. Prices are still unknown but some rumors say it will be available on T-Mobile somewhere this fall.

LG introduces KC910 the Viewty successor

LG has introduced the successor of the Viewty phone, the LG KC910. This phone sports 3 inch WQVGA touchscreen, 8MP camera with Schneider-Kreuznach optics and Xenon flash, Dolby Mobile sound, A-GPS, WiFi, 7.2Mbps HSDPA and geotagging support. We can expect it in stores somewhere in October for yet undisclosed price.
